Description

This mosaic was created piece by piece from hand cut stained glass. This mermaid is one of numerous mermaids symbolizing "transformation". I use many kinds of stained glass from around the world and the original has "glass effects" that can not be described with words but must be experienced in person. This original mosaic is currently available for sale through Cocco and Salem gallery in Key West, Florida www.coccoandsalem.com as are numerous other mosaics from my most recent collection of water inspired subjects.

Incredible work! At first glance I thought it was an oil painting. Then I saw the mosaic pieces. It's unbelievable how you create such a flowing, richly colorful piece of art with those small rectangular pieces of stained glass!
