Title
Batyam
Artist
Mia Tavonatti
Medium
Painting - Stained Glass Mosaic
Description
Like most of my work, Batyam was conceived in water...
Batyam means "daughter of the sea" in Hebrew and, like all my mermaids, is a symbol of metamorphosis and reunion with our higher Self. Wrapped securely in her veils, Batyam finds solace beneath the surface of emotional watersa reflection of her former self mirrored above. Contemplating a beautiful red beta fish, she is inspired to be a fuller, more vibrant version of her Self.
